Nobody is Coming to Save You

“Oh if I just could get my boss to give me a raise.”

“If my husband/wife would just land that new job I could quit”

“When I finally pay off the house I can work part-time”

“I am so jealous that my neighbor doesn’t work, must be nice”

“Hope the lottery hits Saturday night so I can retire, lets go buy lotto tickets”

“Other people are so lucky”

Ever think the above thoughts? ^^

Most people do, on a daily/weekly/monthly basis.

And guess what?  It’s a life-ruining and sad thought process to have.

Why?

Because only YOU are in control of your life.  Not your boss, not your spouse, not your mortgage, not the lottery, not anything or anybody else.  YOU.  Anyone who tells you otherwise is lying.

Here’s a story for you –

There once was a little boy, nicknamed Sparky.  Sparky was made fun of in school, didn’t have any friends, and was relentlessly called a loser.  In fact, he was “astonished” if a classmate ever even said hello to him.

Sparky failed every subject in 8th grade, got kicked off the school’s golf team, had his cartoons rejected by the school newspaper editor, was turned down when he proposed to his girlfriend after high school, and again had his cartoons turned down by the Walt Disney Company after months of preparation.

Sparky put all of this behind him and kept working – he loved drawing and his cartoons, and knew he was creating something special.  He was proud of his artwork, even when everyone else laughed at it.

Sparky went on to create the worldwide phenomenon, Charlie Brown.

Charles Schultz (Sparky) is regarded by many as of the greatest artists/cartoonists of all time – from little Sparky with no friends and failing 8th grade, to a household name & multi-millionaire.

Be like Charles Schultz. He never gave up & he was 100% positive that nobody was coming to save him.

So enough with the negative thoughts from above – want to retire early? Buy the new house? Travel to places most only dream of? Start a charity? Create a family legacy?

Whatever your dreams are, only you can make them happen.

Be a Money Athlete, strive for financial freedom, live the life you WANT. And understand that Nobody is Coming to Save You.
